Rate: £450 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
A leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major water and wastewater treatment projects is seeking an experienced MEICA Project Engineer to support a growing portfolio of capital delivery schemes.
We are interested in candidates from either a Mechanical or Electrical background who have experience delivering MEICA packages within the water sector or closely related process industries.
Responsibilities
* Manage MEICA installation and delivery activities across water and wastewater treatment projects.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
* Review technical drawings, specifications, and design information.
* Support procurement activities and ensure equipment is delivered to programme.
* Ensure works are completed safely, to specification, and in line with quality standards.
* Assist with commissioning and handover activities.
* Liaise with client representatives, design teams, and operational stakeholders.
* Provide progress reporting and support project managers with commercial and programme updates.
Requirements
* HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
* Previous experience delivering MEICA works within the UK water industry.
* Strong understanding of treatment plant environments.
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and safe systems of work.
* CSCS card and relevant site certifications preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a Tier 1 project environment.
