Are you looking for a rewarding role in social care and supported living? Client Snapshot: An exciting opportunity has become available with a well-established provider of supported living services. The service supports young people aged 16–18 (up to 21 if Leaving Care) with a range of needs, including mental health, independence skills, and community engagement. Vacancy Brief: * Mental Health Support Worker – location-based at a single residential service in Leeds. * Temporary role averaging 30 hours per week. * Shift pattern: 1:00pm – 10:00pm (followed by a sleep-in) next day 8:00am – 2:00pm. * Pay rate: £14.70 PAYE Or £19.00 per hour Umbrella, Sleep-in £60.00 per sleep. * A current Enhanced DBS covering both Adult and Child workforce is required. * Lone work will form part of the role. * No driving license or own vehicle required. The Responsibilities: * Supporting residents with daily living skills and overall wellbeing. * Delivering person-centred support plans tailored to individual needs. * Promoting independence and facilitating community engagement. * Carrying out risk assessments and adhering to safeguarding responsibilities. * Providing overnight reassurance and safety during sleep-in shifts. * Maintaining accurate records, reports, and handovers. * Working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless support.
