Apply NowMK Search are currently working with a well respected Project Management Consultancy who are looking to appoint an MEP Project Manager to support the delivery of a 25MW data centre development in West London.
Working as part of the client-side PMC team, you will take a hands-on role in the delivery of the MEP package, working closely and collaboratively with the on-site contractors, consultants and wider project team to drive the project through the construction, completion and commissioning phases.
This is a delivery-focused position and would suit an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in complex MEP projects and experience taking projects through commissioning and handover.
The Role
*
Act as part of the client-side PMC team overseeing MEP delivery on site.
*
Work closely with the MEP contractors to drive progress and ensure key programme milestones are achieved.
*
Monitor the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages against programme, quality and project requirements.
*
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain progress.
*
Take a proactive approach to identifying potential delivery risks, constraints and interface issues.
*
Support the project through testing, commissioning, completion and final handover.
*
Attend and lead relevant site, progress and coordination meetings.
*
Maintain a strong on-site presence and develop collaborative relationships with the delivery teams.
Requirements
*
Experienced MEP Project Manager with either a Mechanical or Electrical bias.
*
Strong construction and delivery background within technically complex MEP environments.
*
Data centre or other mission-critical project experience would be highly advantageous.
*
Good understanding of testing, commissioning and project handover.
*
Comfortable operating in a client-side/PMC capacity while working closely with the contractors responsible for delivery.
*
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
*
Available for a 12-month contract based on site in West London.
