MEP Technical (Mechanical) Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering Leadership
Lead the delivery and coordination of mechanical MEP design information
Collaborate with designers and BIM teams to maximise value and reduce risk
Ensure high-quality, compliant engineering solutions are delivered
Strategic & Business Contribution
Contribute to regional strategy, planning, and overall business performance
Support internal MEP delivery initiatives and continuous improvement
Stakeholder & Client Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and partners
Ensure positive commercial and project outcomes
Team & Resource Management
Lead and develop engineering teams, including mentoring and capability growth
Manage internal and external resource requirements effectively
Work Winning & Preconstruction
Support bid submissions and tender activities
Provide technical input during early project stages to secure new work
Health, Safety & Environment
Champion high standards of HSE performance
Promote a zero-harm culture across all projects
Job Requirements:
Strong experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of Mechanical Building Services (MEP)
Proven experience managing and developing teams
Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Client-focused with excellent communication skills
Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery
Proactive and able to take initiative
