Merchandiser

About the role
Join a fast-paced, product-led business where you will own a defined product range, ensuring the right products are in the right place, at the right time and price. You will work cross-functionally with Buying, Marketing, Operations and Finance to drive sales, margin and stock efficiency across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
Build strong relationships with UK and international suppliers
Support negotiations on cost prices, lead times and payment terms
Analyse stock, sales and margin performance to identify opportunities
Manage pricing and promotional activity across categories
Monitor inventory, place and track purchase orders
Identify new product opportunities using customer and market insight
Support forecasting and stock planning with key internal teams
What you'll bring
1+ year's experience in merchandising, buying or purchasing (retail/e-commerce preferred)
Experience working with international suppliers (ideally East Asia)
Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset
Confident Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and collaborative working style
Knowledge of WSSI or merchandise planning tools desirable
