Metal Polisher

A manufacturer of low-volume, complex architectural products has a new vacancy for a Metal Polisher to join the team. Working on a range of bespoke, low-volume products, you will be responsible for polishing and finishing a wide variety of machined metal components. The products vary considerably in shape, size and complexity previous metal pol, so metal polishing or metal finishing experience and a keen eye for detail is essential

The Role

Polishing and finishing machined aluminium components to a high standard.

Working with small, detailed and sometimes intricate components.

Preparing surfaces to achieve the required cosmetic finish.

Removing machining marks, scratches and imperfections.

Inspecting work and identifying any imperfections.

Working from job specifications to achieve the required finish.

Manage own workload to meet production deadlines.

The Person

Previous professional experience in metal polishing or metal finishing.

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to identify surface imperfections and achieve a consistent high-quality finish.

Ability to work accurately while meeting production deadlines.

A reliable and positive approach to work.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
