MIG Welder – Temp to Perm Rotherham Small bespoke fabrication company specialising in custom welding and fabrication across multiple sectors is looking for an experienced Fabricator. This is a hands-on role in a straightforward, quality-focused workshop. Pay & Hours £16 per hour Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:30pm Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm Overtime available at x1.5 Temp to Perm role with a permanent contract for the right person 20 days holiday + bank holidays (once permanent) The Role Mig Welding of steel beams and sheet metal components Read and work from engineering drawings Cut, form, assemble and finish metal parts to spec Operate press brakes, band saws and other fabrication machinery Use overhead crane to move materials Work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium Maintain high standards of quality and safety Requirements Proven MIG Welding experience (metal / steel / sheet metal) Confident using press brakes, band saws and general fab equipment Ability to read engineering drawings Overhead crane experience is essential Welding experience beneficial but not essential
