MIG Welders
We are looking for a MIG Welder to join a small, friendly engineering workshop in Brandon. This is a straightforward role working mainly with light and mild steel, suitable for someone confident with JIG work and happy in a relaxed, down‑to‑earth environment. This opportunity would particularly suit an experienced welder who wants a steady, consistent workload without the high pressure of a fast‑paced production setting. MIG Welders Brandon Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm £13.75 per hour Temp to Perm Immediate start Duties include: MIG welding light and mild steel components Setting up and working from JIGs to ensure accuracy and repeatability in welded assemblies Preparing materials — cutting, cleaning, grinding and tacking pieces prior to welding Reading simple drawings or following verbal instructions to assemble components correctly Quality checking your own welds, ensuring clean joins and strong, consistent penetration General fabrication support, including use of hand tools and workshop equipment Occasional basic fitting tasks to help complete assemblies as required This is not high‑precision or coded welding — the work is varied but straightforward, focusing on consistency, reliability and quality of finish.
