MINIBUS DRIVER - SEN School Prospero Teaching is looking for a qualified Minibus Driver, to join one of our specialist settings in Manchester. if you are professional, reliable and patient, we would love to hear from you. The children you will be transporting have a range of needs including some physical and mobility issues Key Responsibilities: · Safely transport vulnerable young people to and from designated locations · Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults · Ensure the minibus is clean, presentable, and roadworthy · Provide a friendly, professional service to all passengers · Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies Contract/Position Details Location - Manchester, Lancashire Position - Minibus Driver Type of work - Long term supply Start date - April 2026 Duration / Likely Duration - July 2026, potentially December 2026 End date (if applicable) - July 2026, potentially December 2026 Contract type - Temporary / potentially temporary to permanent Full time/part time - Monday to Friday, split shifts Minimum rate of pay - GBP16-17ph Hours - split shifts, 7.30am to 9.30am, then 2pm to 4.30pm Experience, Qualifications and Skills · Valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (or equivalent) · CPC qualification (MIDAS, or similar) · Previous professional driving experience is desirable · Strong punctuality and reliability · Good communication and customer service skills · Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must · Hold Right to Work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application · Hold MIDAS (or equivalent) driving qualification · Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
