Hours of work: 10 hours per day (9.5 hours paid)
Work pattern: 12‑day fortnight
Duration: 5 months
PAYE Pay Rates: (NAECI Blue Book Grade 5)
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources is recruiting for MMA Welders for tank and structural welding work on a 5 month project in Teesside. Duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting welding drawings and procedures
- 6G MMA welding on tanks, vessels and structural components, 12-16mm plate, fillet and butt welds
- Back grinding welds
- Arc air gouging for weld preparation and repair
- Working safely within health, safety, and quality requirements
- Maintaining welding equipment and tools
Requirements:
- CCNSG safety passport
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Welding
- Experience of MMA welding on tanks, vessels and structural steel plate in a heavy industrial environment (power, petrochemical, process)
- Experience using arc air gouging
- Ability to pass a weld test and medical
