You will maintain strict FGAS compliance records and update internal reporting systems accurately.

As an active Air-Conditioning Engineer, you will perform general building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor fabrication.

*

You will utilize mobile technology like tablets and internal systems to efficiently manage, update, and close work orders.

*

Furthermore, an Air-Conditioning Engineer will partner smoothly with planners, colleagues, and store managers, complete administrative tasks, support operational objectives, and take a turn on an on-call rota.

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

*

To qualify for this Air-Conditioning Engineer position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration as a minimum requirement.

*

You need to hold a valid F-Gas Certification (C&G 2079 – Category 1).

*

We require proven knowledge of air conditioning systems and general mechanical building services, alongside experience working in a retail, commercial, or multi-site maintenance environment.

*

You should possess proven multi-trade capability covering general building upkeep beyond core HVAC work.

*

Candidates must have strong fault-finding and repair skills, paired with a proactive and customer-focused approach.

*

Clear verbal and written interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.

*

You will need a flexible mindset driven by a commitment to continuous learning and a full UK driving license
