An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Crane Engineer to join a well-established engineering and maintenance business specialising in mobile crane servicing and support. Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced plant engineers to join their expanding field service team, with crane experience desirable and training available.
About the Role – Mobile Crane Engineer
As a Mobile Crane Engineer, you will be field-based, responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of mobile cranes across the region.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing of mobile cranes
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
Attending customer breakdowns across the region
Carrying out crane modifications and upgrades
Completing digital service reports and paperwork
Following company procedures and health & safety standards
Representing the business professionally at customer sitesWhat You’ll Need to Succeed as a Mobile Crane Engineer
Previous experience maintaining plant machinery (essential)
Crane maintenance experience (desirable, with training provided)
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
NVQ Level 3 in Plant Machinery, Heavy Vehicles or equivalent
Ability to complete digital reports and documentation
Strong communication and organisational skills
Flexible approach to working hours when required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
