Mobile HGV Technician Location: London Salary: £50,000 - £55,500 Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time The Role We’re looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician with strong knowledge of municipal vehicles to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for keeping refuse trucks, sweepers, and other municipal vehicles in safe, roadworthy condition. What You’ll Be Doing * Carrying out inspections, servicing, MOT prep and repairs on municipal vehicles. * Diagnosing and fixing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems * Ensuring vehicles are compliant with all safety and legal standards * Completing accurate paperwork and using fleet systems to log work * Supporting with pre-delivery inspections of new fleet vehicles What You’ll Bring * At least 5 years’ experience working on HGVs / municipal vehicles * Solid knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems * A full HGV Category C licence (Class 2) * Strong organisation skills and the ability to work on your own initiative * Previous experience supervising or leading people would be an advantage What’s On Offer * Monday to Friday, days shift. * Company pension and benefits package * Ongoing training and development opportunities If you’re an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge in London , we’d love to hear from you.
