Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: Mobile / South East & East of England / HS2

Job Type: Permanent

Overview:

Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established Construction Plant business. The role involves maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of construction plant equipment across the East and South East, with occasional visits to HS2 sites

Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostic checks on plant machinery and equipment

* Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues effectively and efficiently

* Examine machinery before dispatch and upon return to ensure readiness and safety

* Set up and test plant attachments, ensuring compatibility and functionality

* Conduct fluid monitoring, replenishment and regular lubricant.

* Inspections and preparation of plant machinery for deployment and transfers

* Perform servicing in line with manufacturers' specifications and standards

What do I need?

* Strong background in plant or construction equipment maintenance.

* Strong organisational, time keeping and communication skills

* NVQ in plant mechanics or similar or CSCS card holder

* Keen attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to tasks.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours-

Monday - Friday, 42.5 hours per week with overtime available
