Mobile Plant Fitter

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor operating across Scotland and the wider UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, fault finding and repair of a wide range of heavy plant and associated equipment, supporting projects across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of heavy plant machinery
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding
• Breakdown response and planned maintenance
• Supporting site operations to minimise equipment downtime
• Maintaining service records and inspection reports

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or Service Engineer
• Strong knowledge of heavy plant, hydraulics and diesel engines
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel to sites across Scotland as required

Package:

• £42,000 - £50,000 basic salary (DOE)
