Mobile Vehicle Engineer
Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position. This is an exciting chance to join a thriving vehicle conversion business who are now looking for a Mobile Vehicle Engineer to join their UK field engineer team and to cover the Milton Keynes, Bedford and Luton areas. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on fabricated vehicle bodies including Ramps and Tail Lifts. Main purpose This role will cover duties on customers sites and at other sites around the UK including any of their client's workshops. Key tasks * Be able to fault find and repair all items the Company requires ro meet the customer needs. * Competent in fault finding and rectification. * Basic knowledge of electrical systems, diesel heaters, hydraulic ramps and tail lifts * QA check of vehicles. * To be able to complete mobile or off-site works. * Dealing with clients and customers in a professional manner. * Operate Company IT system for recording work. * Keep up to date with tooling. * Lone working. * Possible overnight stays * Full UK Driving Licence. Key Attributes * Keen eye for detail. * Experience in quality assurance would be of benefit. * Problem solving. * Good work ethic and attention to detail * Accuracy in all tasks and measurements. Installations should be to a high standard. * Flexible as the work can be varied. * Integrity. * Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department. * Be aware of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices. Full-time – (40 hours per week - Monday to Friday.)
