Nixon Hire is continuing to invest heavily in its modular division, with significant growth over the past two years and clear plans to scale further. As part of this expansion, we are looking to appoint a Technical Business Development Manager to drive growth across Scotland.
This is a national, field-based role, requiring regular travel (3–4 days per week) to meet clients and develop new business opportunities.
The Role
* Identify and win new business opportunities across Scotland
* Build and develop strong client relationships
* Provide technical consultation on modular building solutions
* Understand client requirements and deliver tailored proposals
* Prepare costings, specifications, and project timelines
* Work closely with internal sales, design, and operations teams
* Contribute to overall sales strategy and regional growth
About You
* Proven background in business development / external sales
* Essential experience within the modular building industry
* Strong understanding of modular systems, construction processes, and regulations
* Track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
* Ability to operate in a consultative, solution-led sales environment
* Confident managing multiple opportunities across a regional patch
