The Opportunity:

A high-performing, boutique brokerage is seeking a driven and resilient CeMAP-qualified Mortgage Adviser to join its team in an employed capacity. This position is specifically designed for a professional who values the financial security of a competitive base salary while maintaining the ambition to significantly increase their earnings through an uncapped bonus structure.

Operating from within a premier, award-winning Estate Agency in Gloucester, the successful candidate will act as the dedicated expert for a consistent stream of warm leads. They will work alongside a seasoned Business Principal who is personally invested in their professional growth and long-term career progression.

Remuneration & Benefits

The role balances stability with high-reward incentives:

£26,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience).

A transparent structure that rewards completions on both mortgage and protection business.

High-quality introductions provided daily by the Estate Agency team.

Includes pension contributions, holiday entitlement, and coverage of professional subscriptions.

With a consistent volume of introduced business and a focus on holistic advice, the expected year-one earnings for this role are £40,000+

Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality, compliant mortgage and protection advice to a diverse client base.

Proactively managing and converting warm leads introduced by the branch sales team.

Building strong rapport with estate agency partners to ensure a seamless client journey.

Overseeing cases from initial inquiry through to legal completion with a focus on accuracy.

Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of lender criteria and regulatory changes to ensure "doing things properly."

Candidate Requirements

Full qualification is essential for this role.

A track record in mortgage advising with a focus on compliance and customer service.

The "grit" and energy required to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume agency environment.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly with clients.

The ability to work as a self-motivated individual within a collaborative, small-team setting.
