Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multiskilled CNC Miller on a permanent basis.
Please note this position will be working a permanent backshift, the hours of work are 14:30-00:30 Monday to Thursday.
The Job you’ll do
* CNC Miller – Setter/Operator, with 3, 4 & 5 axis experience to set and operate CNC Machines with Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems.
* Setting, and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC mills.
* Hand Deburr and fettle detailed components
* Quality checking own work.
* Troubleshoot and make adjustments to offset coordinates.
* Read and understand technical engineering drawings.
Be able to read understand CNC programmes, using machine interface
* Using our manufacturing system to be able to check material availability, part requirements, part routings and issue
* Operate within a 5s manufacturing cell environment
About You
* Engineering apprenticeship/City and guilds / NVQ's / National tech certificate engineering.
* Thorough experience in multi axis CNC machine tools milling.
* Must be a proactive team player, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
Must be able to setup and operate CNC mill machines.
* Knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls.
* Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

* 4 day working week, Monday to Thursday 14:30- 00:30.
* Excellent salary £33,473- £43,037.28 (including shift allowance)
