Job Title: Multi-Skilled Electrical bias Engineer Location: Commercial Site Contract Type: Temporary - 23rd February until 23rd March 2026 Salary: £21 per hour Umbrella PAYE ONLY Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm (30-minute break) – 37.5 hours per week About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Electrical Biased Engineer to join a well-established facilities team on a commercial site. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role covering both planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services systems. This role also includes participation in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as part of a 24/7 support team. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building services systems in line with SFG20 or equivalent standards. * Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues efficiently. * Support the completion and coordination of minor works identified during maintenance activities. * Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with method statements, risk assessments, and H&S legislation. * Maintain accurate records using the client CAFM system. * Work closely with the onsite FM team and other service partners to ensure smooth site operations. * Assist with fault finding and diagnostics across building services systems. * Support supervision of subcontractors where required. * Ensure site documentation is maintained and audit ready. What We’re Looking For Essential Experience * Experience working on building services plant and systems. * Multi-skilled in Mechanical and Electrical maintenance. * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial environments. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Electrical Qualifications (Preferred) * City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent. * Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent. * City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition. * Electrical apprenticeship (desirable). Additional Skills * Experience with BMS systems. * HVAC or multi-skilled engineering background. Desirable * Experience with CHP, Biomass, or Air Conditioning systems. * Knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and water treatment systems. * Experience working on building fabric maintenance. * IOSH Working Safely or Managing Safely.
