The Company Due to continued expansion, my client situated in Oldham is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer on a continental shift (7-7 days & nights) to add to their growing internal engineering Team. The Role - Multi Skilled Engineer * Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner * Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales * Fully support improvement initiatives and development of the engineering department to enable the business to grow * To ensure the achievements of the engineering KPIs and targets are met * Be part of the corrective and planned maintenance programs * Assist in the development, input and the fully utilisation of the CMMS program * Mentor and support other team members * Ensure a good working relationship with production and all support functions * To ensure all Company procedures and rules are adhered to; Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards * To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe * To establish an effective working relationship with production and ensure regular communication and feedback * To identify and implement labour saving and productivity improvements in conjunction with production teams * Provide engineering and technical support / training for Line Technicians What We Are Looking For The Multi Skilled Engineer should be experienced within a similar role and have the following skills/experience: General Skills - Multi Skilled Engineer * Good engineering knowledge gained within a maintenance FMCG or similar environment * Self managed and able to demonstrate a good level of performance * Multi-skilled/electrical/mechanical ONC / NVQ 3 or equivalent in maintenance engineering * Good communication and IT skills * Have good organisation skills and attention to detail * Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues What Is On Offer - Multi Skilled Engineer * Unrivalled training & development plan * Company Pension with Legal and General (4% company contribution) * On-site parking * Subsidised canteen * 24-hour security Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Canteen Casual dress Company events Company pension Cycle to work scheme Discounted or free food Employee discount Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking Store discount
