Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer 📍 Bedale, North Yorkshire 💷 £52,000 Basic Salary ⏰ 4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights (12 Hour Shifts) We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Bedale. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary and a structured 12-hour shift pattern that offers great work-life balance. The Role You will be responsible for maintaining the site’s production equipment and machinery, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. Working across both electrical and mechanical systems, you will deliver high-quality maintenance support on both planned and reactive tasks, as well as contribute to continuous improvement projects. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and plant equipment * Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns * Fault find and repair across electrical and mechanical systems * Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency * Work safely in line with health and safety standards Requirements * Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills * Experience with production machinery, automated equipment, or packaging lines * Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent) * A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills The Package * £52,000 basic salary per annum * 4 on / 4 off days and nights – 12-hour shifts * Opportunity to work for a well-established and growing manufacturing site * Supportive engineering team and investment in training If you’re a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge in Bedale, apply today to join this thriving team
