The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across the site. Key Responsibilities Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - Maintain equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Breakdown Response - React quickly to faults to reduce production disruption. Fault Diagnosis & Repair - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues. Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance, safety, and reliability. Team Collaboration - Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations. What We're Looking For Technical Expertise - Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical knowledge. Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG). Ability to deliver both proactive and reactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across plant and site services. Qualifications (one or more of the following preferred): ·BTEC / ONC minimum in Electrical discipline ·Multi-skilled Engineering qualification ·C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical Certificate combined with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance ·Time-served apprenticeship ·HNC in Electrical or Production Maintenance Engineering Suitable Backgrounds This role would suit candidates with experience as: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, or Packaging Engineer
