Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer Location: Southampton Salary: £50,000 per annum + Overtime Hours: Monday - Thursday (Evening Shift) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a modern commercial facility in Southampton. This role offers a unique Monday-Thursday evening shift pattern, alongside strong training and progression opportunities within a supportive engineering environment. What you'll do: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services plant. Perform fault finding and repairs on systems including power distribution, lighting, HVAC plant, pumps, motors, and associated mechanical equipment. Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests to ensure building systems remain safe, reliable, and fully operational. Assist with minor installations, system improvements, and general building services maintenance tasks. Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site compliance requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records and liaise with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth site operations. What you'll bring: City & Guilds / NVQ in either an Electrical or Mechanical discipline. Experience working within building services or commercial facilities maintenance. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across both electrical and mechanical systems. A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
