Multi-Skilled Engineer/Team Leader - Norfolk Salary: £52,000 - £57,000 + overtime available Shifts: 4 on 4 off days and nights Commutable from: Thetford, Brandon, Mildenhall, Lakenheath, Watton, Attleborough, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Diss, Newmarket, Swaffham, Stowmarket, Cambridge, Ipswich, King's Lynn, Ely, Sudbury Are you a multi-skilled engineer, maintenance engineer, or shift engineer or engineering team leader looking for your next move in manufacturing? We are partnering with a market-leading food manufacturing company, working within a highly skilled and fast-paced engineering team. Key responsibilities: * Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond efficiently to breakdowns to maximise equipment uptime * Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on a variety of equipment * Use maintenance systems to record activities, planned maintenance, and track KPIs * Work effectively with external contractors and production teams to ensure smooth night operations * Ensure full compliance with food safety, environmental, and health & safety standards * Assist with continuous improvement initiatives Key skills & experience: * Time-served engineer or relevant Level 3 engineering qualification * Experience with valves across water, air, and production lines (beneficial) * Previous maintenance or engineering experience within FMCG / manufacturing * Good communication and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail and strong health & safety awareness * Flexibility to support additional shifts if required * PLC fault finding or diagnostic skills If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please contact Alexa or Oli on (phone number removed).
