Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Multi Skilled Joiner to begin work for a well-established repairs and maintenance contractor covering the Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy social housing repairs team delivering high-quality maintenance and improvement works within occupied and void properties.

This role is paid CIS Only

About the Role:

Duties Include:

* Carrying out all aspects of domestic joinery repairs and maintenance.

* Completing responsive repairs and property improvement works.

* Installing and repairing doors, frames, skirting, kitchens, flooring and other joinery elements.

* Undertaking multi-skilled works where competent, including:

* Plastering

* Roof repairs

* Tiling and finishing works

* Basic plumbing

* Groundworks

* Diagnosing repair issues and completing jobs efficiently to a high standard.

* Ordering and organising materials required for works.

* Accurately completing job sheets, reports and mobile working documentation.

* Working closely with other trades on multi-discipline repairs.

* Providing excellent customer service while working within tenants' homes.

* Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.

* Participating in out-of-hours emergency support when required.

About You:Essential:

* NVQ Level 2 in Joinery or equivalent qualification.

* Proven experience carrying out domestic repairs and maintenance.

* Experience working within social housing, housing associations or responsive repairs environments.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

Desirable:

* NVQ Level 3 in Joinery.

* Multi-skilled experience in plastering, tiling, roofing, plumbing or groundworks.

* Experience working with Housing Associations.

* Experience using mobile working systems.
