Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

📍 Location: Leeds, LS10
💷 Salary: Around £40,000 (DOE)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing site, working days only and supporting the maintenance and reliability of production machinery.

The Person

* NVQ Level 3 qualified or Apprentice Trained in Engineering

* Previous experience working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

* Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background

* Confident carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

The Role

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Respond to machine breakdowns and complete reactive repairs

* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on manufacturing equipment

* Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently

* Complete maintenance records and associated paperwork

* Work closely with production to minimise downtime

* Support continuous improvement initiatives across site
