Apply NowD R Newitt are working with a close client in the Food Industry who due to growth are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a 4 on 4 off pattern (days and nights).
On offer is a salary of £48,000-£49,000 plus unique company benefits.
key duties:
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance
* Breakdowns
* Reactive and planned works
* Installation of machinery
Candidate requirements:
* UK recognised electrical or mechanical qualification – NVQ level 3/equivalent or Above
* Be able to fault find in both electrical and mechanical machines/systems.
* Ability to understand Electrical and mechanical Engineering Drawings.
* Basic PLC I/O understanding.
* Conversion qualifications (to Elec/Mech)
* Good understanding of drives, motors, brakes, transmissions, closed loop feedback, transducers.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated, hard-working and organised
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines e.g production start up
