Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment are working with a forward-thinking manufacturing business that is expanding its operations. We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with hands-on 3D printer experience to support ongoing operations on a contract basis. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising a range of production equipment, along with 3D printing (additive manufacturing) systems. This is a fast-paced role requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise. Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: York Rate: £35 per hour **Inside IR35** Shifts: 4 On 4 Off Days & Nights Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery, including 3D printers * Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems * Support installation, calibration, and commissioning of 3D printing equipment * Ensure minimal downtime and continuous production efficiency * Work with production teams to improve machine reliability and performance * Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation * Adhere to health & safety standards at all times Requirements: * Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical & mechanical) * Strong experience working with 3D printers / additive manufacturing equipment * Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Experience within manufacturing, automation, or production environments * Flexible and proactive approach to work To be considered for this role please apply with your most up to date CV or for more information please call and speak to Simon
