Job Title: Multi Skilled Plumber / Multi Trader – Social Housing Location: Lower Clapton, London Rate: £25 per hour Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday Contract: Long-Term Contract (Permanent position available for the right candidate) Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Plumber / Multi Trader to join a maintenance team working within occupied social housing properties in Lower Clapton, London. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong plumbing background who is also confident carrying out a range of multi-trade maintenance tasks. The position is site-based, offering consistent long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Carrying out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance within occupied social housing properties Completing plumbing repairs and installations including leaks, pipework, taps, toilets, and general bathroom maintenance Undertaking minor electrical work, including basic fault finding and replacing fittings Performing carpentry repairs, including doors, locks, skirting boards, and kitchen unit adjustments Completing general multi-trade tasks, such as basic plastering, patch repairs, and painting Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Working closely with the maintenance team while also managing jobs independently when required Requirements Strong plumbing background (essential) Proven experience working in social housing or reactive maintenance environments Experience in multi-trade work, including carpentry, basic electrics, plastering, and decorating Ability to diagnose faults and resolve maintenance issues efficiently Good communication and customer service skills when working in occupied properties Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Relevant trade qualifications preferred but not essential for candidates with strong experience What We Offer £25 per hour Monday to Friday schedule (09:00 – 17:00) Long-term, stable work on a single site Opportunity to move into a permanent position If you are a reliable Multi Trader with a strong plumbing background looking for long-term work within social housing maintenance, please contact: Louis Lord (phone number removed)
