Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative Location: Peterborough (with travel across a 2-hour patch) Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join a growing construction contractor based in Peterborough. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work across a variety of construction and property projects. The role will involve working on sites across a 2-hour travel radius from Peterborough, so applicants must be willing and able to commit to regular travel within this patch. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out a range of multi-trade works across construction and refurbishment projects * General maintenance and repair works including carpentry, basic plumbing, patch plastering, and other associated trades * Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within project timeframes * Maintaining a safe working environment and following all site health & safety procedures * Liaising with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery * Travelling to different sites within the designated patch as required Requirements * Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative within construction or property maintenance * Strong skills across a variety of trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, general repairs, finishing works) * Full UK driving licence * Ability and willingness to travel across a 2-hour radius from Peterborough as part of the role * Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team * Good communication skills and professional approach on site What’s on Offer * Permanent, stable employment * Salary between £38,000 – £42,000 per year depending on experience * Opportunity to work with an established and growing construction contractor * Varied work across multiple projects How to Apply If you are a skilled and dependable Multi-Skilled Operative looking for a long-term opportunity and are happy to travel within the required patch, we would like to hear from you.
