About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi Trader to join our team working across social housing properties. This is a hands-on role involving a variety of day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks in occupied and void properties. You'll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting & decorating, and basic plastering
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently on first visit where possible
Complete works in both tenanted and void properties
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service when dealing with residents
Accurately record job details using handheld devices or paperwork
Requirements
Proven experience as a Multi Trader or in a similar maintenance role
Strong skills across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, decorating essential)
Trade NVQ Level 2 is essential
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good communication and customer service skills
Experience working in social housing
Ready to make a real difference in people's homes and communities with your skilled expertise
