Duration: 3 months (with potential for long-term work)
Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join a social housing adaptations project in Sheffield. This role involves carrying out a range of maintenance and adaptation works within occupied properties, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out multi-trade works including (but not limited to) carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and general repairs
Complete social housing adaptations in line with project specifications
Work efficiently in occupied homes while maintaining professionalism and respect for tenants
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Adhere to all health & safety procedures on siteRequirements (Essential):
Valid CSCS Card
Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)
Full DBS check
Face Fit certification (to be carried out by Wates)
Own vehicle
Qualification or apprenticeship in a primary trade OR NVQ Diploma in Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair and RefurbishmentAdditional Information:
Immediate start from 16th May
Minimum 3-month contract with strong potential for extension
