Salary: £41,935 - £56,154 per annum
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary of £56,154 is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3.
About the Role:
We are recruiting in partnership with a vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in Barnet for a passionate Music Teacher to join their dynamic Performing Arts department.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026. You will teach Music across Key Stages 3, 4 and ideally 5, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love for music.
Music plays a central role in school life, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including concerts, ensembles, and productions.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level (KS3 & KS4, ideally KS5)
• Strong subject knowledge across both practical and theoretical elements
• A track record of strong student outcomes
