Mpeople Recruitment are seeking an experienced Nationwide Driver on behalf of our reputable client based in Salford.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week (plus overtime)

Location: Nationwide (Salford based)

Responsibilities include:

* Delivering goods to customer sites throughout the UK, including locations across England, Scotland and Wales.

* Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.

* Load and unload goods where required, ensuring all materials are handled carefully and secured correctly for transport.

* Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, allowing for traffic, delivery times and customer requirements.

* Maintain accurate delivery records and relevant vehicle documentation.

* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers at delivery locations.

* Safely operate a company van in accordance with all road traffic laws and company procedures.

* Be prepared for extensive nationwide travel and longer-distance journeys as required by the business.

* Communicate effectively with the internal team regarding delivery schedules, route changes, delays or any issues encountered.

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies and safe working procedures.

* Keep the company vehicle clean, presentable and roadworthy at all times.

* Represent the company professionally whilst on customer sites and public roads.

* Take responsibility for the safe transportation of goods and ensure products arrive at their destination in good condition.

The desired candidate would have the following experience:

* Full UK driving licence - essential.

* Previous professional van driving or multidrop/delivery driving experience.

* Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to support operational requirements when needed.

* A good knowledge of UK roads and confidence driving long distances nationwide.

* Good understanding of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.

* Excellent time management and organisational skills.

* Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.

* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

* Comfortable travelling extensively throughout the UK as part of the role.

* Willingness to work additional hours and overtime where available
