Night Hygiene Operative Location: West Hull Hours: Saturday to Wednesday, 9:00pm - 5:00am (40 hours per week) Industry: Food Manufacturing Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour plus attendance bonus About the Role We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Hygiene Operative to join a busy food manufacturing site in West Hull. You'll play a crucial part in keeping the factory clean, safe and fully compliant with food safety standards, ensuring production can run smoothly the next day. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in high standards, and is comfortable working night shifts. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Hygiene Carrying out deep cleaning of production areas, equipment, tools and machinery Using cleaning chemicals safely and following COSHH guidelines Disassembling and reassembling machinery (after training) for thorough cleaning Cleaning floors, walls, surfaces and high‑touch areas Ensuring all work areas meet strict food safety and hygiene standards Factory & Equipment Care Completing end‑of‑shift washdowns of production lines Cleaning conveyors, mixers, fillers, ovens, preparation tables and associated equipment Emptying waste, sanitising bins, and ensuring waste areas are kept clean Reporting any hygiene, equipment or maintenance issues promptly Compliance & Safety Working in line with food safety regulations and internal hygiene procedures Completing hygiene records accurately Wearing the correct PPE at all times Following Health & Safety processes, including safe chemical handling About You Previous hygiene or cleaning experience in food manufacturing is an advantage (but not essential) Comfortable with physical work and working in a fast‑paced environment Able to work nights reliably Strong attention to detail Happy working with cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided) What We Offer 40 hours per week on a stable night‑shift pattern Long‑term opportunity with potential to secure a permanent role Full training provided Supportive team environment AI Summary - Agent use only Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
