About the Role
A well-established organisation is seeking an Operations Team Lead to support day-to-day operational performance within a fast-paced food environment. This role involves overseeing a team, driving performance, maintaining high standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a team to ensure strong operational performance
* Oversee key metrics relating to efficiency, processes, performance, and service delivery
* Support and maintain standards across compliance, quality, and workplace best practice
* Conduct investigations, reviews, and audits to continually raise performance
* Work closely with internal teams across various functions
* Promote a positive and engaging working environment
* Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and support team development
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a team leader, supervisor, or people management role
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* Comfortable working with performance metrics and documentation
* Good general IT skills
* Proactive, hands-on approach with strong leadership qualities
Desirable Skills
* Experience within a high-volume or fast-paced operational setting
* Knowledge of compliance, quality systems, or process improvement
