Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Nightshifts only Sunday to Thursday Location:Market Deeping, Lincolnshire Shift: Nights ONLY– Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00 Salary: £47,000 + £6,000 Night Shift Allowance 53k salary Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer 50/50 to join our well-established team at our new site in Market Deeping in 2025. The primary focus of the role is to work closely with the production team to minimise machinery downtime and ensure preventative maintenance is carried out effectively to avoid disruption. You will collaborate with the wider engineering team to improve plant productivity, ensure availability of spare parts and materials, and investigate root causes of breakdowns and machinery speed losses. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns * Fault find on electrical and mechanical systems * Identify and implement plant productivity improvements * Support production teams to minimise downtime Candidate Requirements Electrical (Essential): * Fault finding on single and three-phase systems * Experience with servo motors, AC motors, sensors, and control systems * Basic electrical installations (lighting and small power) * PLC knowledge desirable Mechanical (Essential): * Experience with drive trains, rollers, gearboxes, shafts * Pneumatics and basic hydraulics knowledge * Ability to strip machinery to component level and rebuild Additional Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 (preferred) or time-served experience * Proven maintenance engineering background * Ability to work independently and use initiative * Strong communication and organisational skills What We Offer * £47,000 salary + £6,000 night shift allowance * 23 days holiday (increases with service) + statutory holidaysFixed Christmas shutdown * Pension scheme * Private healthcare * Free parking * Online holiday booking system * Career progression and external training opportunities * Please apply with your CV
