Nursery Manager Location Stockport Salary upto 36000 depending on experience Job Description An experienced and motivated Nursery Manager is required to lead a well established single setting nursery in Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong early years professional who is passionate about delivering high quality childcare and leading a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, learning and safeguarding are maintained while supporting the development of staff and children within the setting. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the nursery Ensure the nursery delivers high quality care and learning in line with EYFS Support and develop nursery staff through leadership and guidance Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements Manage staff rotas, performance and team development Monitor children’s development and support positive outcomes for all children Ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming and engaging Requirements Level 3 Early Years qualification minimum Previous experience working in an early years setting Leadership or management experience within a nursery environment preferred Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices Excellent communication and organisational skills A passion for delivering outstanding childcare This role is ideal for a confident early years professional looking to take the next step into leadership or for an experienced Nursery Manager seeking a new opportunity within a supportive setting
