* Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

* Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM over 4 days per week (Includes a 1-hour daily lunch break)

Marylebone Services is proud to represent a fantastic nursery in Balham (SW12) seeking two dedicated Nursery Practitioner for their under 2s room. This position offers a highly sought-after 4-day working week, giving you a consistent 3 days off every week while maintaining full-time hours!

You will join a small, highly experienced team guided by a nursery owner who is also an Ofsted inspector, providing you with unmatched professional development opportunities.

About the Role & Room:

You will be based exclusively in the cosy, intimate baby room, which caters to a maximum of 6 children at any time with an excellent 1:3 staff-to-child ratio.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as a key person, keeping regular observations and developmental profiles updated.

* Assist with planning stimulating play experiences using the EYFS framework.

* Maintain daily routines including changing nappies, supporting potty training, and setting up nap beds.

* Build warm, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and family members.

* Help set up and tidy activities, maintaining food safety, health and safety, and nursery hygiene standards.

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualifications: Must hold a valid Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification.

* Experience: Proven experience confidently working with children under the age of 2 in a nursery setting in the UK.

* Core Qualities: A warm, patient, and caring personality with a strong eagerness to learn and develop.

* Skills: Strong organisational abilities, emotional resilience, and a positive attitude.

* Flexibility: Punctual, flexible, and willing to assist across other nursery rooms if required.

* Requirement: An Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS check is strictly required before starting.
