Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 WN4 Area (Wigan) Full-time / Ongoing Opportunity / Potential for permanent role We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to support a welcoming and well-established Early Years setting in the WN4 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting children in their early development. The Role You will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years provision for children aged 0–3, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework. Responsibilities will include: Supporting and supervising children during play and learning activities Acting as a key person, building positive relationships with children and parents Creating a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment Monitoring children’s development and maintaining accurate records Supporting children with personal care and daily routines where required Working closely with the nursery SENCo where additional support is needed Promoting inclusion, safeguarding, and child wellbeing at all times Working collaboratively with the nursery team and external professionals Requirements Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting Good understanding of EYFS and child development Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and child protection Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Desirable: Paediatric First Aid qualification Experience supporting children with additional needs What We Offer Competitive daily pay rates Support from a dedicated education recruitment consultant Opportunities for long-term and permanent placements Access to training and professional development If you are a passionate Early Years professional looking for your next opportunity in the WN4 area, we would love to hear from you.
