Occupational Therapist (OT) – SEND Tribunal Assessment

We are recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to complete a specialist functional assessment to support a SEND Tribunal case.

This is an opportunity to deliver a focused, high-impact piece of work with clear scope and expectations.

The Role

You will:

* Conduct a face-to-face assessment within an educational setting

* Assess:

* Fine motor skills

* Independence and self-care

* Sensory processing

* Functional impact on daily and school activities

* Liaise with family and education staff as required

Reporting Requirements

* Produce a detailed, Tribunal-ready report

* Clearly evidence functional need

* Provide specific, quantified recommendations to inform EHCP provision

Requirements

* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

* Experience in paediatric / SEND assessment

* Strong understanding of functional and sensory needs

* Ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports

Additional Information

* One-off assessment and report

* No ongoing casework

* No tribunal attendance required

* Delivery required within April
