Administrator / Project Team Assistant Cramlington, North East National MEP Contractor Full‑time | Permanent Are you an organised, proactive administrator looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading national contractor with an exceptional in‑house mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering workforce, is expanding their team due to internal progression. They are now seeking an enthusiastic Administrator / Project Team Assistant to join their busy Cramlington office. This is a key role supporting project delivery, coordination and day‑to‑day operations. The Role You’ll provide essential support across the business, including: * General administration for the wider team * Assisting with procurement schedules and material orders (Navisworks input) * Distributing invoice and account queries * Managing weekly timesheet input and updating labour sheets * Organising plant equipment and maintaining plant registers * Document control for project files, drawings and team folders * Preparing site engineer files, toolbox manuals and sign‑in books * Handling RFIs, technical queries and maintaining the RFI register * Monitoring the training matrix and arranging future training * Overseeing company vehicle processes and monthly fleet reporting What We’re Looking For * Experience in administration, ideally within a project‑based environment * Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask * Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner * Confident using Microsoft Office * Navisworks experience preferred (not essential) * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * A supportive team player with a positive attitude Why Join? * Work with a respected national contractor * Supportive team culture with opportunities for development * A role where no two days are the same
