Office Administrator
Job Title: Office Administrator (Flexible Working Options Available) Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (pro-rata) Location: Birchwood, Warrington Role: Part-time hours available/Permanent Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to support the smooth running of our office. This is an ideal role for someone who values variety, enjoys keeping things organised, and wants to work in a supportive, friendly environment. We understand that people have different commitments inside and outside of work, so we are open to discussing flexible working patterns — including school‑hour days, reduced hours, part‑time options, or fewer days per week — as long as core responsibilities are being met. Key Responsibilities Administrative Tasks Filing paperwork and maintaining well‑organised digital and paper filing systems Preparing letters, documents, forms, and reports to a professional standard Managing printing, scanning, photocopying and general administrative support Keeping office documentation tidy, updated, and easy to access Office Support Tasks Collecting and sorting incoming post Preparing outgoing letters, parcels, and courier deliveries Taking packages to the post office or courier drop‑off when needed Carrying out small office errands to support the wider team Monitoring office stock (printer paper, ink, stationery) and arranging replenishment Day‑to‑Day Practical Tasks Collecting or picking up lunch for meetings when required Tidying and resetting meeting rooms after use Emptying bins and ensuring shared spaces stay presentable Light cleaning such as hoovering or wiping down surfaces if needed Keeping kitchen areas clean and organised, including loading/unloading the dishwasher Restocking tea, coffee, milk, and snacks Organisation & Team Support Helping prepare meeting packs, printed documents, and agendas Setting up desks for new starters (chairs, screens, stationery, refreshments) Supporting managers with simple tasks, errands, and general admin Contributing to a friendly, well‑organised, and efficient working environment Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in an administrative or office support role Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Office, email, and digital filing Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently Comfortable juggling a range of small tasks through the day Working Pattern & Flexibility We welcome applications from people who are looking for: School‑hours working patterns Shorter days (e.g., 9.30am–2.30pm) Part‑time hours 4‑day weeks Flexible start/finish timesWe’re committed to creating a role that works for the right person and supports a healthy work–life balance, while still ensuring the office runs smoothly.
