Location: Hazeley Enterprise Park, Hampshire Job Type: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday – Full-time (part-time considered) Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum About Us Influx Measurements is a specialist manufacturer of precision flow measurement instrumentation. We are seeking an organised and reliable Office Administrator to support our Sales Director and wider team with day-to-day sales administration, customer service, and order processing activities. This is a varied and responsible role, combining customer communication, order entry, sales administration, despatch coordination, and general office support. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Sales Administration & Order Processing * Accurately enter and process customer orders using internal systems * Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, and delivery requirements, and issue order confirmations and acknowledgements promptly. * Assist in preparing quotations and sales documentation and monitor orders through the sales pipeline to ensure on-time despatch * Liaise with production, logistics, and accounts to ensure efficient order fulfilment. * Maintain accurate records of orders, quotations, export paperwork, and communications * Support despatch administration and coordination Customer Support * Act as a professional first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email and answer incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately * Provide efficient administrative support and resolve routine queries, proactively updating customers on order and delivery status * Escalate complex issues to relevant team members * Build strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service General Office Duties * Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems and perform accurate data entry and maintain spreadsheets (Excel) * Support the Sales Director with general administrative tasks * Assist with simple purchasing activities * Provide administrative support across departments as required * Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes Skills & Experience Essential * Strong written and verbal communication skills along with good literacy and numeracy skills * Highly organised with a professional and friendly manner * Confident using Microsoft Excel and general office systems Desirable (not essential) * Previous office or administrative experience * Experience using Sage or similar systems Full training will be provided.
