Offshore Structural Engineer

Offshore Structural Engineer Location: London Contract Type: Permanent Work Arrangement: Flexible hybrid working We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in London. This role offers broad exposure to diverse offshore energy projects, including early-phase engineering, execution, and decommissioning support. Key Responsibilities: - Support offshore structural engineering activities across feasibility, FEED, troubleshooting, and decommissioning phases - Design metallic offshore structures, including fixed platforms and floating topsides, and develop FEA models - Design foundation elements such as piles and mud mats - Assess and re-design existing structures, including life-extension studies and inspection planning - Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and scopes of work - Provide technical input to drawings and attend coordination meetings - Collaborate closely with internal teams and other engineering disciplines throughout project delivery - Liaise with clients, shipyards, contractors, and certification bodies - Ensure compliance with offshore design standards and company HSEQ requirements Requirements: - Familiarity with structural analysis and FEA software - Experience with DNVGL SESAM or ANSYS is advantageous - Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Benefits: - Exposure to a wide range of engineering projects - Flexible hybrid working environment - Additional company benefits provided If you are interested in this role, please send your CV or contact details to proceed with your application
