Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 + OTE

I am currently recruiting for an O&M Engineer to join a rapidly growing company within the renewable energy and battery storage sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Technician, Industrial Electrician or O&M Engineer looking to develop a career within BESS / Battery Energy Storage.
Previous BESS experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
The Role
Working across utility-scale BESS and Solar PV sites, you will be responsible for:
* Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
* Fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
* Inspection, testing and preventative maintenance
* BESS, Solar PV and associated electrical systems
* Sensors, communications and control equipment
* Supporting commissioning activities
* Coordinating and supervising contractors
* Maintaining accurate service records and reports
* Working safely and in line with Health & Safety requirements
There is also the opportunity to develop towards HV Authorised Person (AP) and Senior Authorised Person (SAP) level.
About You
* Relevant Electrical Qualification
* Industrial electrical maintenance experience
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
* BESS / Solar PV / Renewable Energy experience is desirable, not essential
* HV / AP experience is advantageous
Package
* £45,000 – £52,000
* Up to 20% annual performance bonus
* Paid overtime x1.5
