You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping site culture, improving processes, and ensuring the facility consistently meets environmental and commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager include:

* Lead, motivate and develop site teams across operations, drivers and maintenance, embedding a strong safety-first and high-performance culture

* Take ownership of performance, driving throughput, quality of output, and operational efficiency against clearly defined KPIs

* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental permits and waste regulations, acting as the responsible site lead when required

* Coordinate closely with maintenance to maximise plant availability, reduce downtime, and deliver continuous improvement across equipment and processes

* Manage site budgets, reporting and performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve cost control and operational output

* Engineering or technical background (mechanical, electrical or process) with IOSH or NEBOSH preferred

* A hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to drive engagement and accountability across teams

What’s on Offer:

* Competitive salary circa £65,000 depending on experience

* Opportunity to take full ownership of a critical site within a growing, sustainability-focused business

* A leadership role with real influence over site performance, culture and continuous improvement

* Supportive environment with a strong focus on safety, development and long-term progression
