Operations Planning Manager Gloucester £65,000 per annum + benefits Permanent | Full-time (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) The Role We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead and embed a robust Sales & Operations Planning process within an engineering-led manufacturing environment. You will align demand, supply, capacity, and financial plans across our products, ensuring improved forecast accuracy, service levels, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve the monthly planning cycle Develop effective forecasting and demand planning processes Translate demand into achievable production and capacity plans Align operational plans with financial forecasts and budgets Identify constraints and drive cross-functional solutions Track KPIs including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory Support ERP planning systems and maintain supply planning parameters About You Proven planning, demand, or supply chain planning experience in manufacturing/engineering Experience managing short and long lead times Analytical, commercially aware, and confident influencing senior stakeholders Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills What Success Looks Like Embedded and effective planning process Improved planning stability and on-time delivery Clear alignment between operational and financial plans For more information, contact Rory McStay
