Anglian Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established and highly respected employer who are looking to recruit a Paint Preparation Operative to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous workshop or paint prep experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is looking for a secure, long-term position.
The Role
As a Paint Preparation Operative, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing surfaces ready for painting, including sanding, masking, cleaning and filling
* Assisting the paint spraying process to achieve a high-quality finish
* Mixing paints and supporting colour matching when required
* Ensuring all work meets quality standards and production deadlines
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
* Following health & safety procedures at all times
Working Hours
40-hour week:
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
Salary & Benefits
* £30,000 per annum
* Permanent, full-time role
* Early finish every Friday

About You
We’re looking for candidates who have:
* Previous experience in paint preparation, paint spraying or a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and pride in their work
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Reliability and willingness to learn
